1 faux finishes

Faux Finishes for walls and ceilings and etc.

Faux Finishing, or sometimes called Glazing, is the use of semitransparent color worked over the surface of a wall, ceiling or object, to create a variety of special effects and techniques. Faux finishes are a inexpensive way of perfecting a wall or surface that has to hide imperfections. But its not limited to old walls. We have created many stricking Faux finishing jobs in brand new homes on the market all the time. Faux is the French term for meaning' false or fake'. But not to decieve but be not real. To pronounce the word " Faux " in English is simply like saying the word " Foe "Here is a list of some of our specialitys;Metalic finishesColor WashingScumbleingColor washesDistressingAgeingAntiquingWeatheringFaux stone, marble, granite, wood. Venition plastersFaux textured surfaces with plaster or architectural coatings.The advantages of the use of Faux Finishing are very vast in its desire, and as well practical.You may have the same beauty and enjoyment as the real thing, but , without the expense. In the case of just a astetic point of view, wher it only has to to look real, a Fuax option is avalible. It can be much cheaper than some wall paper, some times alot.One of our specialitys is Faux wall paper. Where it looks like wall paper, but its not. Many have elaborated on our work at decorator show houses and even model homes. They have insisted on touching the walls because they are so convinced that what they are seeing is paper, when in realality its paint. When we create any Faux finish, ther are no seams, edges or lines. So it will never peel, shrink or bubble up and get meldew behind it. So its great for all kinds of challenging areas. And once we clear coat it, which you dont always have to, it is forever protected under a clear layer. That is now very touchable and cleanable too. We have hundreds of real painted samples of faux finishing to show as great examplesof our work. And as our customers would say, our work really resembles the finished samples made for the job. This is not somtthing said about our competiors. If the need arises to have to create a new Faux finish sample for you, yes that we can. it is avalible once the job is sold. Since it takes time , energy and materials to create new samples, and time to re visit and go over things again.

Star Gazing Murals Murals & paint that glow in the dark

Yes, this is done with glow in the dark paint, but its not the hobbie store brand, that fades away in a hour or so. We have lots of color to work with, Blues, Aquas, Whites, Reds, Yellows and greens. They also continiue glowing for hours, some up tp 12. And its all water based paint , so its safe in your home. Now with a pallet like that in my hand, alot can happen. You only have to imagine the possibilitys of a whole new realm to see and work in. Your day time room is another place with out the lights off, not just a differnt room , but a entirly differnt place. Words are tough to use here. Im not just talking about some night stars, but the universe, in your room. And thats only the begining. To see a whole city in the dark , or science fiction scene come to life, or even the under sea at night. It is like you now have night vision now. So the ideas are truly endless. 6 Tromp l oeil

Tromp L' oeil Illustionistic Painting , or is it real.

Tromp L' oeil is french for " A trick of the eye" .Pronounced ' Tromp - ell - oyee 'When its created well enough it should fool you. Many say they do this kind of work, but lack the real puch. The door to the right is a real door, but the center upper and lower panels are not. They are really just painted in to create raised wood work. The door really is a perfectly flat pocket door. Work like this is not a five minet job. It takes a bit of planning and good measuring to pull one of these off.

The paneling on this door is painted.

Themmed Enviroments Its about the whole area., with a central themme through out.

This is always a fun job. We have had the privilege of desiging and creating many of theses now. This is taking a central themme and spreading it around the entire area. Its very comon to have this or see it done. You may think that this is just an idea for a kids room, but but it goes way beyond that. In todays homes of new builds the statisics say that 33% have a area or dedicated room just for a home theater. And for those who dont just want a plain room with white walls , we are the next leval of excitement to make your room or place uniquely different from the rest. You will want to get us envolved from the begining, if its possible, so to have time to dream and plan out what you want. I have 13 plus years as a set designer. There is not alot of difference, and what you see in the movies is not all digital, but created by an artist some where in a studio for that set. All you have to do is deram, we got the rest.

11 wall remove

Wall paper removel , repairs & prep work. Some one has to do the dirty work..

I take the time here to mention this because we are asked all the time about it. Are we able to remove that old stuff, and we can, and we do. Alot of it as a matter of fact. Followed by a bit of minor wall repair and touch up from the removel process. Then a coat of primer sealer before the actual paint happens. Landing last is the paint it self.

As an artist working in the docorative painting field, I am called apon alot to help or suggest with the help of color for alot of clients homes. I am not an Interior Designer. That is a very specialized field of work of which i am not. Its my experience and fine art background that makes this an itracule part of this job. What I am not is a yes man, being ther to just agree. Insted I will speak up if the color of the project dosent work together. I believe it to be very important to have color continunity throughout. If you presently have or are working with an Interior Designer or Decorator, I will not over ride ther choice or view. But I am avalible for this consultation indpentantly or as a part of our work that you are considering.

Meet Ninandre' Bogue

"Nin" is a gifted artist and painter with 24 years of professional experience. Born of French Canadian lineage and raised in Western New York, Nin initially started out as a decorative painter and has served for over 13 years as a Lead Theatrical Set Designer for a professional production company.

The demand for murals and themed environments moved him rapidly into offering a full range of specialty wall finishes and textures.

Nin has perfected the art of "realism"; a process by which he can produce remarkably life-like and natural looking marble, granite, and other natural structural materials. This talent alone is creating a huge demand for his services in architectural circles; both residential and commercial.

His passion for the outdoors and all of creation is apparent ~ his work can be called a celebration of natures beauty and wonder.
